Working With Yvonne

Simple answers about Yvonne's background, coaching programs, cost, and how to get started.

What's your background, and why should I trust your career advice?

I spent 20+ years in senior HR and operations leadership at companies like Amazon, Blue Origin, and Target. I've built hiring systems, sat on the interview panel side, made pay decisions, and run the exact systems most career advice only guesses about. I coach from real experience, not just a certificate.

Do you offer one-on-one coaching, group coaching, or both?

Both. The Career Clarity Intensive is one-on-one, built for people who want a fully personal plan and direct support. The Career Clarity Cohort is a group program for people who want structure, community, and the support of others going through the same steps.

How do I know which coaching program is right for me?

That's exactly what the Clarity Blueprint Session is for. It's a real conversation, not a sales pitch, where we look at your situation and figure out honestly if one-on-one coaching, group coaching, a single service, or something else is the right next step. Sometimes the right answer is "you don't need me yet — try this first."

What does a typical coaching program include?

It depends on the program, but most include three things: clarity work (figuring out what you actually want and why), practical tools (resume, LinkedIn, interview prep, salary negotiation), and regular check-ins so you keep moving instead of losing steam, which easily happens when people try to do this alone late at night after a full workday.

I'm not in crisis, I just want to be more thoughtful about my next move. Is coaching still for me?

Yes. Some of my best client work happens when someone isn't in crisis — there's more room to think clearly, less pressure, and more time to build something on purpose instead of reacting. You don't have to be desperate to deserve support. Waiting until you're desperate just means doing the same work under worse conditions.

How much does career coaching cost, and is it worth it?

The cost depends on the program, and I'll walk you through real numbers during a Clarity Blueprint Session, since the right option depends on what you actually need. Here's how I'd think about "worth it": compare the cost to another year in a job that drains you, money lost in a bad negotiation, or a search that takes three extra months because the plan was wrong from the start.

What if I start coaching and realize it's not the right fit?

Tell me directly — I'd rather know than have you quietly disappear. No one likes to be ghosted. Coaching is a relationship, and like any relationship, fit matters. If something isn't working, we talk about it and adjust, or we part ways cleanly. That conversation is easier than most people expect, and much easier than staying stuck to be polite.

How do I get started with career coaching?

Book a Clarity Blueprint Session. That's where almost everyone starts, no matter where you are in your career or how clear — or unclear — your next step feels right now.

Still have questions?

The best next step is a Clarity Blueprint Session. It's a real conversation, not a sales pitch.
